DragonSword : Awakening is currently available on Windows PC through Steam. That is the only released platform confirmed by Hound13 as of August 7, 2026. Console work is in preparation, but no console platform, release order, or launch date has been finalized. [S01] [S03] [S05]
Current platform
The live version can be purchased and played on Steam for Windows. The official store identifies Windows as the supported desktop operating system, and the current FAQ says the game is available only on Steam. No other released platform appears in the reviewed official material. [S01] [S03]
This status describes the release that players can access now. It does not include a confirmed Mac, Linux, mobile, or console edition. Store search results, controller icons, and community requests are not platform announcements. Last checked: August 7, 2026.
Windows and Steam
Windows PC via Steam is the supported route. The Steam page carries the purchase listing, system requirements, update news, and controller information. Hound13 has not published a separate standalone PC launcher or another confirmed PC storefront in the reviewed sources. [S01] [S03]
Steam is also the official game entry point used by this guide. Hound13 has not supplied a separate game website in the reviewed sources, so an unofficial download page should not be presented as one. Players should verify requirements and current availability on the Steam listing before purchasing. [S01]
Steam Deck has no reliable official Verified or Playable rating in the collected evidence. Steam Deck support is therefore To be confirmed rather than listed as supported. Windows compatibility alone does not establish compatibility with SteamOS or a specific handheld configuration.
Mac and Linux
The reviewed Steam store lists Windows as the supported desktop system and does not offer native macOS or Linux builds. Neither native version is currently available through the confirmed Steam release. Any future Mac or Linux release remains To be confirmed. [S01]
No official source in the research package announces dates or development plans for either operating system. Compatibility layers and user-made workarounds can change independently of Hound13. They are therefore not presented as native or officially supported platform options here.
Mobile
There is no current mobile version. Hound13 states this directly in the official FAQ. No Android or iOS release date has been announced, and neither mobile platform should be displayed as planned without a newer official statement. [S03]
DragonSword : Awakening is a separate title from earlier mobile or Webzen services associated with similar branding. Hound13 says save data does not carry over from those earlier services. Old service pages, account information, or mobile footage therefore do not prove that the 2026 Steam release has a mobile client. [S03]
Console plans
Hound13 is preparing console service after the Steam release. The roadmap says the team had not decided which console platform would come first, while the later FAQ says platforms and release timing were not finalized. This is a development intention rather than a released-platform announcement. [S03] [S05]
PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, and Nintendo hardware remain To be confirmed individually. There is also no verified console launch window, release sequence, cross-save support, or cross-platform multiplayer commitment in the reviewed announcements. An FAQ question can mention particular console names without Hound13's answer confirming each one.
Controller support
The Steam store lists DualShock and DualSense controller support for the Windows PC version. Those listings apply to controllers used with the Steam release. They do not identify a separate console build. [S01]
Controller support is not evidence of a PlayStation build. PC games can support PlayStation controllers without being published on PS4 or PS5. The same distinction applies to button prompts and controller footage. For the dedicated PS5 status, the only accurate answer remains that no PS5 version or date has been separately confirmed.
